From Dark and Dreary to Light and Airy
Mercer Island Master Bathroom

To update their master bathroom, the homeowners used a piece of opaque blue “Avonite” countertop to build their design around. They loved the color and the texture of the material, and hoped to use it as the inspiration for the room. With the reconfiguring of layout, the shower and toilet were flipped to allow for a large walk-in shower and jetted tub. A decorative border tile tied the countertop color to the black and white detailed floor and gave the space a refreshing update with a spa-like aura.
