As an authentic design build company we are able to provide you with a custom designed project to fit your needs perfectly. We produce in-house blue prints necessary to meet building department requirements including zoning, energy code compliance and structural engineering. Many of our projects have been award-winning kitchens and bathrooms. We construct new room additions as well as perform whole house remodels. WHAT IS A DESIGN BUILD FIRM?
Design build firms have the in-house capability of taking your building ideas from a mere concept to a completed project. As a design build firm, our design team works with you incorporating your ideas as well as offering expierienced design advice. We generate completed blueprints which function as building permit documents and construction documents for our crews. Because our craftsmen and our designers work closely together, there is a seamless interface as we move from design, out into the field. Since you are working with one entity throughout the project, it is easier to maintain control over budgets.

Seattle Design Build works on the Lead Carpenter system. Each project has one Lead who is responsible from beginning to end. He is a working manager who talks with the customer each day, reviewing progress and answering questions. He works with team members and coordinates with the office. He is responsible for obtaining necessary inspections and making sure that the project comes in on time and on budget. They have the expertise to add a second story to your home, build a traditional addition with a full basement or get your house painted and re-roofed as part of our management service. Our customers love working with us – that's why many have had us return over the years for additional projects – several home-owners have invited us back for as many as 5 separate projects!

HOW DO YOU FIND OUT MORE? Call, visit our showroom or invite us to visit your home. In our first meeting (plan on 1 to 2 hours), we will take measurements, guide you through a series of design decisions and begin to assemble the first stage of a new design. By the end of the first meeting, our goal is to know conceptually what you want from your project and to be able to show you sketches and a simple cost estimate. At our second meeting we will present you with scale drawings, a more accurate cost estimate and begin the process of refining the design until it is exactly what you've dreamed about! Our third meeting could be at an appliance supplier, a tile and marble wholesaler, or at our cabinet builder.
